1. Introduction

1.1 We are Buggy Pitstop Limited, a pushchair cleaning and repair company registered in England and Wales under company number 08473039, with our registered service centre at Studio 3A, Whitefriar Studios, Winsor & Newton Building, Whitefriars Avenue, Harrow, HA3 5RN, United Kingdom (hereinafter referred to as “we”, “our”, “us” or “Buggy Pitstop”).

1.2 If you are a consumer, references in these Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) to “you” or “your” refer to the individual using our services for private and non-commercial purposes.

1.3 These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and End User Licence Agreement, form the entire agreement between you and Buggy Pitstop (the “Agreement”) and set out the legal terms on which we provide our cleaning, maintenance, and repair services (the “Services”).

1.4 You should print or save a copy of these Terms for your records.

1.5 We may update these Terms from time to time in accordance with section 12. Please check the latest version before placing any order to ensure you understand the terms applicable at that time.

1.6 Definitions:

  • “Delivery Box(es)” – the packaging box(es) purchased or retained by you to send your Item(s) to Buggy Pitstop.

  • “Collection Window” – the time period specified in your Order for collection of your Item(s).

  • “Customer Account” – the account created by you via our website or portal, identified by a unique reference number.

  • “Return Window” – the time period specified in your Order for the return of your Item(s) after servicing.

  • “Items” – the products you send to us for cleaning, maintenance, or repair.

  • “VAT” – Value Added Tax.

  • “Minimum Order Value” – the minimum order amount (excluding discounts) required for service without an additional fee.

  • “Service Class” – the level of service selected by you, determined by factors such as Collection Window, Return Window, Minimum Order Value, and applicable service fee.


2. Order Process

2.1 The Services shall be performed in accordance with the following process:

2.1.1 When placing your first order, you must provide accurate personal information so that we can fulfil your request.

2.1.2 Payments are processed securely through our payment partners Shopify and Stripe. Buggy Pitstop Limited does not store or process full card details directly.

2.1.3 After placing an order, you will receive an automated email confirmation with your order details.

2.1.4 We use a third-party courier service for collections and returns. A collection fee may apply.

2.1.5 You must pack your Item(s) into the designated Delivery Box(es), properly labelled with your order reference, and ensure they are ready for collection during the agreed Collection Window.

2.1.6 We do not guarantee the use of any specific cleaning products or brands of detergent.

2.1.7 We will use reasonable efforts to accommodate special requests but are under no obligation to confirm or guarantee them before processing.

2.1.8 We do not guarantee the complete removal of stains or marks.

2.1.9 If no one is available at the collection address during the agreed time, you may be charged for a second collection attempt. We reserve the right to refuse re-collection if the initial failure was due to your unavailability.

2.1.10 Work will be carried out in accordance with the specification confirmed in your order.

2.1.11 Return of Items typically takes up to 2 weeks, depending on the service required.

2.2 We reserve the right to refuse service for items we believe may be damaged during processing or for brands we are unable to repair.


3. Collection and Return of Items

3.1 For consumers, collections and returns are limited to private residential addresses. For businesses, they are limited to registered business premises unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3.2 Collection and return times are estimates only. We shall not be liable for any delays caused by third-party courier services.

3.3 You are responsible for:

  • (a) ensuring you or your authorised representative is available during the Collection and Return Windows;

  • (b) providing accurate and up-to-date contact details;

  • (c) securely packing your Item(s) within the Delivery Box(es) to prevent damage to the Items or the packaging; and

  • (d) removing all loose objects and valuables (e.g. coins, pens, cosmetics, or documents) before handing over your Items. You will be liable for any damage caused to our property or to third parties as a result of such objects.

3.4 We only accept Items packed in Delivery Box(es). No other type of container is permitted.

3.5 Parcel Sizing Requirements:

  • Maximum weight: 30 kg

  • Maximum length: 100 cm

  • Maximum girth: 230 cm
    (girth is length + 2x width + 2x height)

3.6 In the event of loss in transit, a full investigation (up to 4 weeks) will be conducted by the courier. Buggy Pitstop will not be liable for delays caused by such investigation. During this time, a loan pushchair may be provided, subject to availability.

3.7 If an Item is confirmed lost, it is insured by the courier up to £100 per parcel. Buggy Pitstop will replace the Item(s) on a like-for-like basis (not “new for old”). If no equivalent replacement is accepted, compensation will be based on the current market value, determined by Buggy Pitstop.


4. The Items

4.1 You must ensure that the Items belong to you or that you have full authority to use our Services in relation to them.

4.2 You are responsible for any losses, claims, or damages arising from breach of this obligation.

4.3 We reserve the right to refuse any Item not listed on our price list. Unaccepted items will be returned unprocessed.


5. Restrictions on Use

You must not:

5.1 use the Services for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose;
5.2 disrupt, damage, or interfere with the Services; or
5.3 sub-license, re-sell, or provide the Services to any third party without our written consent.


6. Risk and Insurance

6.1 Risk in the Items remains with you at all times.

6.2 Lost or damaged items in transit will only be replaced if we are notified within 72 hours of dispatch or delivery.


7. Payment and Charges

7.1 Service charges are outlined in your estimate or invoice.

7.2 Collection and delivery fees may be charged as a pre-paid deposit; service fees become due upon invoicing.

7.3 All prices include VAT (subject to rate changes).

7.4 Promotional rebates or vouchers may only be applied to a single order and cannot be split or carried forward unless explicitly permitted.

7.5 Payments must be made in full without deduction or set-off. We may offset any amount owed to us against any amount payable to you.

Voucher Terms

7.6.1 Redemption:
Voucher credits will be deducted from your order total. If a balance remains, it must be settled through another payment method.

7.6.2 Restrictions:
Vouchers (including unused balances) expire 12 months after issue and cannot be re-sold, recharged, or exchanged for cash.

7.6.3 Liability:
Once a voucher is transferred, loss or theft risk passes to the purchaser. Buggy Pitstop is not responsible for lost or stolen vouchers.

7.6.4 Fraud:
We reserve the right to close accounts and demand alternative payment if a voucher is obtained or used fraudulently.


8. Failure to Pay

8.1 If payment is not made when due, Buggy Pitstop will exercise a lien over your Items until payment is received in full.

8.2 After 30 days of non-payment:

  • We may sell or dispose of your Items after giving you 10 days’ written notice;

  • Proceeds will first cover sale costs, then outstanding debt; any remaining balance (if any) will be returned to you within 30 days;

  • If proceeds are insufficient, you must pay the shortfall upon written demand;

  • Unsellable or abandoned items may be destroyed at your cost.

8.3 Overdue balances accrue interest at 3% above the Barclays Bank base rate until paid in full.


9. Limitation of Liability

9.1 You must inspect your Items upon return. Claims for loss or damage must be made within 72 hours of receipt.

9.2 We are not liable for:

  • Legal seizure or forfeiture;

  • Normal wear and tear;

  • Colour loss, shrinkage, or inherent fabric weaknesses;

  • Inaccurate information provided by you;

  • Insufficient packing or labelling;

  • Damage from objects left inside Items.

9.3 Our total liability for loss or damage shall not exceed the lower of:

  • The cost price of the Item; or

  • The current replacement cost.

9.4 We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses including lost profits, business, data, or goodwill.

9.5 Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.


10. Variations

We may revise these Terms periodically. The version in effect at the time of your order will apply to that transaction.


11. Right to Cancel

11.1 Consumers may cancel an order and request a refund only before the order has been processed.

11.2 Cancellation requests must be sent to info@buggypitstop.co.uk.

11.3 If Services have already commenced, you may no longer be entitled to cancellation.


12. Obligations

12.1 You must ensure that:

  • All order details provided are accurate;

  • You are aged 18 or over when purchasing Services.

12.2 We will perform the Services with reasonable care and skill.


13. Termination

13.1 You may terminate this Agreement at any time by requesting return of your Items and paying any outstanding charges.

13.2 We may terminate this Agreement immediately if you fail to pay or breach any term.

13.3 We may also terminate for convenience by giving 30 days’ written notice.


14. Consequences of Termination

Upon termination:

  • You must arrange prompt collection or return of your Items. After 30 days, uncollected Items may be disposed of.

  • All unpaid invoices and accrued interest become immediately due.


15. Loss and Damage

15.1 Missing or damaged Items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Claims made after this period cannot be accepted.

15.2 Upon notification, we will conduct a warehouse search and review photographic evidence. Please allow up to 3 working days. If Items are confirmed missing, they will be replaced on a like-for-like basis.
